typical stone house which has been extended to provide more space, overlooking a valley; it's right in the middle of woods, very quiet, on a steep 7000 m2 land. You will particularly enjoy the terrace, nice and shady in the afternoon, sunny at breakfast time. Also the main lounge, with its large windows so you feel in the nature, or the fireplace in winter in the second lounge. You can relax on the large balcony upstairs ,or have a walk down to the river. A sauna will provide you with more relaxation if needed! Children will love the large woody land, to play and hide, and the small inflatable swimming-pool(with pump system).(Extra deposit for the pool asked). Nice and comfortable, though rustic-looking.Telephone. No television.As it's our secondary home, we have decorated it to our taste, and want it to be well-kept and attractive. Books and information about the area available in the house (in English and French ). Nice walks and visits to do. The valley itself, secluded , is beautiful. Enjoy discovering a traditional rural area, land of "great spaces", the historical "bastides" or villages on top of their hills. Go to the local markets and fairs, meet really nice people, and taste the delicious food (excellent bread, veal, pork and duck specialities, and "foies gras" of course) you are welcomed on arrival by someone living nearby.
