There's plenty of traditional character inside this Grade II-listed cottage dating back to the 1580s. Once part of the village's post office, it now serves as a restful retreat just three miles from Bakewell. Summer afternoons are best spent in the two south-facing gardens, while the log burner in the lounge is a delight come wintertime. We love the two clawfoot tubs – they're just the ticket after a hike through the Peak District.
