The Olive DawnSet in a hamlet among vine-covered hills, this home is one of eleven houses, with origins dating back to 1400. There’s a flower and plant-filled private garden and shaded terrace perfect for alfresco meals, while the beautiful large pool is shared – it’s located a short stroll from the home and has incredible views. Inside the cottage, it’s quite traditionally styled, as you’d expect and there’s a fireplace, for when the weather turns cold. With all the wonderful vistas, you may be happy staying put, but that would be a shame, as the charming town of Radda with its narrow cobbled streets, is just a few kilometres away. *The pool area is a short stroll away from the home and it is shared with ten other properties.*The decor here is traditional, so if you like modern, it may not suit.*The chlorine swimming pool is only available for use between 15th May and 30th September.*If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a co...More Details

Ode To RetroIn contrast to this home's traditional façade with its pretty shutters – the inside draws inspiration from the 70s with its sunny yellows and retro furniture. We love the funky monochrome floors here. Outside, in the stylish, private garden, you'll find sun loungers, as well as a hot tub – perfect for watching the sunset with a glass of Prosecco, then enjoy dinner under the lights of the gazebo. This home has a fantastic location in one of Florence's most sought-after residential areas. Piazzale Michelangelo, a sixteen-minute stroll away, is situated on a hill on the south bank of the Arno River – it has stunning vistas of the city and a bronze replica of Michelangelo's David. Accademia Gallery, which displays the actual statue, as well as Botticelli's Madonna and Child, is a twenty-minute saunter, while the Ponte Vecchio and Palazzo Pitti are both under a thirty-minute walk. *There's a safe for your valuables and a concierge service i...More Details

The Hillside RetreatThis stone cottage in the Tuscan hills boasts views across the surrounding mountains and valleys. Set in a secluded spot on the edge of a large village, you’ll have peace and quiet here, with the convenience of shops, restaurants, and bars within walking distance, as well as a trio of historic towns – Barga, Borgo a Mozzano, and Bagni di Lucca – within a thirty-minute drive. The private pool may be small, but the panoramic countryside views from the water more than make up for that. Inside, the two bedrooms are separated by a bamboo wall so they aren’t the most private – we think this home is best suited to a couple or family. *If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a cot and high chair for free. You'll need to request them in advance.*Although the twin bedroom can be configured as a double if required, the bedrooms are separated by a bamboo screen, so privacy is limited. This home is best suited to a family or a ...More Details

Toscana Per SempreHoused within a complex of stone buildings that were once a wine and olive oil-producing estate, this home offers Tuscan relaxation in spades. A communal pool, children’s pool and tennis courts await in the shared grounds, while the private terrace with its countryside views is perfect for a celebratory sundowner after a day of fun and exploring. The traditional interiors may not suit those looking for a flashy modern stay, but beamed ceilings and tiled floors add a touch of rural charm here. While you could easily while away the whole day on-site, take a hilly stroll to the nearby village of Lecchi or hop in your car for a day trip to Siena, Florence or San Gimignano. *The swimming pool, children's pool, grounds and tennis courts are shared with the other residents. *The communal swimming pool is only available for use between May and October.*Your host may be able to arrange a cot and high chair for free. This cosy cabin lies just outside Bolsena, Italy, and is the perfect romantic getaway. We love the open-plan layout, and with all rooms on a single level, it's easily accessible. The home is on the extensive grounds of the owners' property, so the entrance to the garden is shared with the main house. But the pool, barbecue, and other facilities are for your private use, and your privacy will be respected during your stay. You'll have views of Lake Bolsena from the terrace, and the nearest restaurant is just under 1km away. *Private parking is provided on the driveway for free here. Due to the location of this home, we recommend hiring a car to make the most of your stay.*This home is on the extensive grounds of the owners' home, with a shared entrance to the grounds.
