Woodpecker Nook is a strawbale barn set in oak woodland and gardens with pool and play area. The insulation is such you'll be very comfortable through the winter months, and cool when the temperatures soar. The roof is a triple insulated wood, with tent canopies outside and in. You have a bathroom with shower toilet and basin. In the main room there is a four poster double bed, bunk beds, which can be taken out for other furniture, and a double sofa bed. You have a galley kitchen with fridge, gas hob and microwave. There's a washing machine in the pool shower block. Our wood is in the market garden valley of Zafarraya in the Sierra Tejeda range of mountains. We're 30 minutes from the coast and 30 minutes from Lake Bermejales.
