2 bed property in quiet urban location, ideal for families and couples
Casa Capricorn is a 2 bedroomed, 1 bathroom ground floor apartment, ideally located in the popular residential area of Altos de la Bahia between La Mata and Torrevieja, it is fully furnished and equipped for 4 people. Additional facilities for babies and small children can be arranged for hire on your behalf on request.
The front door leads directly into the open living/dining room which is furnished with a sofa and 2 chairs, a flat screen TV showing UK programmes and a DVD player. A dining table with 4 chairs and a dresser sideboard containing DVDs, books, games, CDs and a music player for your entertainment. We have provided air conditioning in the main living area as we feel that it makes for a more comfortable stay. This is generally all that is required to keep the whole apartment cool when used efficiently with the doors and windows closed. However you may be aware that Spain has experienced periods of exceptionally and unusually high temperatures over the last couple of years. We can arrange the hire of additional freestanding units on your behalf on request.
An archway to the rear of the living area leads into the kitchen which is fully equipped with a built in oven, hob, washing machine, fridge freezer, toaster, microwave, kettle, crockery, cutlery, cooking utensils and iron and an ironing board.
Another archway to the left of the living area leads to the bedrooms and bathroom.
The main bedroom to the front of the property has 2 single beds, fitted wardrobes, and a bedside cabinet with drawers plus a chest of drawers. There is a safe fitted to keep your documents secure during your stay. The second bedroom to the rear has 2 single beds a built in wardrobe plus a set of drawers and bedside cabinet.
The fully tiled bathroom has a bath, over the bath shower, shower curtain, toilet, sink and a mirror with lights. For your convenience we have installed a shower gel, shampoo and conditioner dispenser so no need to bring these items with you.
Bed linen and towels will be provided. There is a no smoking policy in this property and no pets, smoking is only permitted outside.
To the outside in the front, the property has a patio area with BBQ and it is furnished with 2 sun loungers. There are 6 steps up to a raised terrace leading to the front door with a table and 4 chairs for dining outside with views of the Mediterranean Sea. The outside area is walled and gated meaning that children can play in safety while you sunbathe in privacy.
The property is in a quiet residential area so is suitable for couples and families looking for a relaxing break. The steps up to the front door render it inaccessible for wheelchair users and those with limited mobility.
Nearest Airports: Alicante, 40 km
The community is well serviced with a 5 minutes walk to a commercial centre which incorporates a large Mercadona supermarket for all of your self catering/BBQ needs or if you prefer to let someone else do the cooking then there are plenty of bars and restaurants in the same location as well as a bank, newsagents, internet mailroom and hairdresser. Should you want something a bit more lively you can head into Torrevieja town which comes alive in the evening with over 300 restaurants and bars, a lovely promenade for an evening stroll, a bustling marina, and a night market and funfair. There is a reliable bus service that takes 15 minutes to get into town with the bus stop only 1 block away or radio taxis are readily available.
For the sun-worshiper, you may be interested to know that we boast an average temperature of 20C and 340 days of sunshine which is ideal when we are only a 20 minutes stroll (1.5km) from La Mata's golden sandy beach. Playa Flamenca, La Zenia, Cabo Roig, Campoamor and Guadamar beaches are also easily accessible where a range of water sports can be found. Alternatively, you could just relax by the communal pool inside the landscaped and gated private gardens just yards from the property.
If golf is your passion you will be delighted to learn that there are a number of championship courses within each reach of the property at La Finca, Algorfa, Villamartin, Real Club Campoamor and Las Rambles.
SMOKING & PETS ARE NOT PERMITTED
