Beautiful 1/2 bedroom apartment in the Port of Nice, with balcony, harbour view and close to beach.
Our beautiful apartment is situated on Quai Lunel, inside a former grand Palais, dating back to 1751. Going through the main entrance door takes you up a grand marble staircase. There is also a lift next to the entrance hall - ideal at the end of long days exploring Nice. Cafe Lunel is a great restaurant that occupies most of the ground floor on our side of the building and is open all day. The numerous cafes, restaurants and bars along the quayside range from high dining to quick snacks. Several are ideal vantage points for people watching, especially with a cocktail as the sun goes down.
Either stroll around the marina or catch the free "Lou Passagin" for a 2 minute crossing to even more cafes and restaurants on the far side of the Port, that specialise in seafood. A 5-10 minutes walk takes you into the lively restaurants and bars of Rue Bonaparte. Alternatively, take a 10 minute stroll around the point, past the "I LOVE NICE" sign (you will too!) to head along the Promenade des Anglais and into Nice Old Town.
We have completely renovated the apartment for the 2019/20 season and ensured that it is furnished and fully equipped to make your stay as comfortable as possible. This apartment has fibre wifi installed and so is also ideal for those looking for a place to work remotely!
The entrance hall of the apartment leads into a fully equipped kitchen with a breakfast bar and stools, fridge with small freezer compartment, dishwasher, electric hob, combi microwave/oven, and washing machine. There is plenty of crockery, glassware, pots, pans and utensils for yourselves, or should you wish to entertain guests!
The kitchen leads into the lounge with a comfortable 3 seater sofa, coffee table, and and dining table and chairs for four people. The lounge is brightly lit through the large windows leading onto the balcony, where you can sit, relax, enjoy a glass of Rose and watch the world go by! The balcony is set back from the quayside, offering guests a lovely view of the port, aswell as privacy from the passers-by below.
The main bedroom with double bed, bedside tables, dressing table and wardrobe is on a mezzanine accessed from the entrance hall. The bedroom is quiet and a small window allows a gentle breeze to circulate through the apartment. Stand fans alone are enough for a comfortable night's sleep even in high summer.
The main bathroom comprises of a toilet, bidet, washbasin, shower cubicle and heated towel rail. Please do flick-on the extractor fan as needed.
There is a second mezzanine above the lounge, with a "click-clack" sofa bed. This is a lovely place to sit and read a book or even answer a few e-mails! There is also a small washroom with an electric toilet and generous cupboard space on this mezzanine.
The apartment is beautifully furnished, well equipped and ideally located. The tram stop and all the attractions of the Port, Nice promenade, beach and the old town are within easy walking distance.

Our new apartment is available for rental periods of one month minimum to three months maximum during the summer months and one month minimum to six months maximum during the winter months, as part of the "Bail Mobilité" scheme.
This apartment is ideal for those looking for a place to work remotely!
For stays of one month, the full payment is required 6 weeks before the stay.
For stays of greater than one month, the first month's rent is required 6 weeks before the stay and the payment plan for subsequent months arranged with the owner.
