Valle Escondido is the premier gated and secure community with a restaurant, hotel, country club and golf course as well as many other resort amenities. The house is elevated 100 feet above the subdivision giving stunning views and privacy. With over 8,500 sq. ft. of living space which includes 2,000 sq. ft. of decking and a separate entrance 1 bedroom casita this home has it all.
On the main floor we have a separate kitchen area fitted with European hardwood cupboards this is adjacent to the indoor sun room with glass ceiling with a working fountain and dinette. The living room and dining area all have extended views down the mountain with a 2 piece Guest washroom. On the main floor is one of the guest bedroom suites including a large bathroom, separate shower and large closet area. Off the living room behind double doors is a media room which could also be a study. All main floor areas are covered in a honey marble which adds a nice feeling of warmth to the openness of the ten foot high ceilings. Also on the main floor level is a separate casita complete with a generous kitchen, living and dining area, bedroom with 3 piece en-suite shower etc.
Upstairs is a large master bedroom with 4 piece bath, separate shower twin sinks and large walk in wardrobe with another area for dressing. Between the master is a family or library area. The upstairs also has wide views down the valley with a large terrace available to both bedrooms rooms.
The lower level has gardener quarters, mechanical room and loads of storage space. There is a good size gym or storage area next to the attached 4 car garage area that is tiled.
All doors are hard wood designer doors and trim along with wood stair treads and matching wood skirting that give the house the feel of exceptional quality. Much expense was incurred in the marble and wood trimmings for the house. The outside deck areas on the lower floor are marble and the upper decks are black onyx tile. The house feels modern but has a traditional feel and has no near neighbors which gives you a great sense of privacy. There is a full house 200 amp natural gas generator with automatic switch over and electronic UPS backup.
The property has been extensively landscaped with flowering and fruit trees including lemons, limes, bananas, plantain, grapefruit to name a few. There is an automated irrigation system sourced from spring water collected in a 8,000 gallon cistern. There are many flowering bushes that attract many of Panama’s native birds.
