Nice room, convenient location for the town centre, air conditioned. Maria and her family were lovely and helpful in helping us to organise trips - even with our terrible Spanish!

Very nice place in old (but in very good condition) building. We have felt there like at home. Maria and her family are very warm and helpful people. A view from terrace is just great!

We had the best time at Maria’s casa. If you want to experience the true Cuban culture and people Maria will walk you through, among others, salsa classes, excursions, Cuban food and nightlife, we had a deep dive into the real Cuba as you would never expect it. We thank again Maria for letting all this happen and we look forward to seeing you soon again.

Maria and family were welcoming. The room and bathroom were spacious. We were able to access the WiFi zone from the balcony at the front of the Casa which was really useful (you need to buy an Etecsa card for this 1cuc for 1 hour). Maria and family did not speak much English which made it hard for us to communicate at times but we managed - maybe best to brush up on your Spanish. Excellent location with Great view of the city from the roof terrace. Definitely worth going to see the flamingo tour - try and get there early though even if you’ve booked in advance through a tour company (some people managed to jump the queue which meant a wait of over an hour). Rancho Luna was worth a visit, which we did straight after the flamingo tour - lovely beach, clear and calm waters. We would recommend staying here! Thank you Maria and family - Becky & Marian
