The Affittacamere takes its name from the ancient hexagonal plan of Avola, a beautiful city between Syracuse and Baroque Noto. In a well-renovated 19th-century building, on 2 floors, with 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, kitchen, living room, 3 balconies and a small terrace, it can accommodate up to 14 people. STRUCTURE: The ancient building on two floors, recently renovated, is in excellent condition. The rooms are all bright, spacious and comfortable. The structure is made up of: •4 bedrooms. •4 bathrooms (two independent, one shared between bedrooms 3 and 4, one service). • double living room. • large and equipped eat-in kitchen. •3 balconies in the three rooms on the first floor. •1 small terrace to hang out the laundry on the first floor. One of the bedrooms is on the ground floor, the other three bedrooms are on the first floor and have a balcony. The living room can become independent and has a sofa bed that can accommodate one or two people. The bedrooms and other rooms in the house are equipped with air conditioning and heating. It is possible to book one or more of the bedrooms, sharing the use of the kitchen and other common areas with the other guests, or the whole house. The property can accommodate up to 14 guests. THE POSITION: The accommodation is in the historic center, in a side street of the main street, Corso Vittorio Emanuele and a few steps from the central square, Piazza Umberto I. In the immediate vicinity there are shops, bars, restaurants and other useful services for guests. The house is 800 meters from the sea, on a coast that offers a rich variety of long equipped beaches, sandy shores, isolated coves and barren cliffs. The old building overlooks one of the typical Sicilian courtyards, very quiet, sheltered from traffic, in a quiet neighborhood inhabited by families. In the courtyard, shared with the neighboring houses, you can park easily. The bus stop is about 100 meters away, where the lines for all the cities of the Sicilian region pass. The train station at 500 meters, to reach Syracuse and from there other destinations. AVOLA: Avola boasts beautiful, clean beaches with crystal clear water, free access and equipped bathing establishments for bathers. The coast extends for about 10 km of coastline and offers a very varied panorama, suitable for different needs and for all tastes. Sandy beaches with shallow waters, which lend themselves well to a holiday with children. Cliffs overlooking the sea, from which you can dive into a clean sea rich in flora and fauna, flanked by narrow dirt paths along which you can take pleasant walks for miles. Coves bordered by the typical cliffs and with large stretches of sandy beach. Avola is famous abroad above all for the Avola almond, with its perfect oval to make one think of the female faces of Antonello, as the Sicilian writer Leonardo Sciascia defined it, and for the Nero d'Avola, the ancient vine, known and exported all over the world for their unique and unmistakable flavours. THE SURROUNDINGS TO VISIT: From Avola you can quickly reach, going towards Noto, the balata di Calabernardo, the wonderful beaches of Eloro, Cala Mosche, the Vendicari Nature Reserve, San Lorenzo, and going towards Syracuse, the renowned beaches of Sabbiadoro a Gallina, Fontane Bianche and Arenella. A few kilometers away from the structure, tourist resorts whose artistic, architectural, natural and food and wine beauties are renowned all over the world.
