Our home is only a 15 minute bus ride away from Dublin City. Bus routes 66, 66A, 25, 25A, 25B, 26, 67A, 67 are all on our doorstep and run very frequently. We are a friendly family and look forward to welcoming guests and have hosted many guests to date. I have no doubt that you'll enjoy your stay with us in your luxurious accommodation. Its just a short walk to shops - Aldi, shopping centre, cinema, pub, restaurant, gym, swimming pool, park, coffee shop, pharmacy, supermarket and taxi rank. just a 15 minute walk to liffey Valley shopping centre Phoenix park only 30 minute walk away or 10 minutes by bus We are very Convenient to Trinity College, DBS, DIT, and any of the language school in city centre (approx 15 minutes by bus) Also convenient to Maynooth college approx 25 minutes by bus There is a fabulous park just around the corner where you can go running/ walking/ jogging or even bird watching. There is a gym at the park also. We have a local pub just on our doorstep which serves hot food and lovely Guinness. We have lucan village which is a quaint village just a few minutes away by bus also. For long term guests bedding is supplied weekly.

Palmerstown is a very nice, quit and secure Dublin neighborhood. There are a lot of buses to Dublin city center and you can get there fast. Also, if you like to be close to the nature, you have a park 5m walking from the house and the phoenix park 10m in bus. The accommodation is good to stay some days visiting Dublin, where you have a spacious and lovely kitchen and our room had a bathroom ensuite.

The room is bright and cozy but floor creaking when you walk around which is very annoying since no matter how slowly you do your steps, the floor creaks ( considering we are small built individuals). Place is also a bit far from City Center . If you have very early tours then you have to take a cab to be at the meeting place and it’s quite expensive. Stayed there for 3 nights and I thought that the amount we spent for transportation could have been added to the hotel accommodation in the city center ( walking distance to most sites). My first time doing homestay in all my travels, I have to take a closer look and more research next time. Learned from this experience.

Bernadine and Brendan were lovely, very welcoming hosts. They helped with visitors information and were great company for a chat. Our room was clean and very very comfortable. We enjoyed popping in to the nearby pub. We were also able to buy some groceries from the Aldi just a short walk away. Everything nearby and Dublin a quick hop on the bus. Highly recommended.

Tony and I stayed with Bernadine for 5 nights . We wish to say it was great. Bernadine was very helpful host. Nothing was a problem she helped us with any questions we had. Any time we returned to the house after our days out there was always a offer of tea and coffee. Brendan was also helpful and of course Archie the dog was friendly a plus forTony. We have no problem in recommending Bernadine and her lovely home.

The house, located in a quiet suburb of Dublin, is about a 20 minute bus ride from the city center. The buses run very frequently so we did not use our vehicle. We stayed in the upstairs room with ensuite plumbing. The room was well appointed with a comfortable bed. Bernadine and Brendan are great and extremely helpful. There is a nice pub a short walk away that has very good food which is reasonably priced. We will stay here again
