Our home is located in The Germantown area of Philadelphia where it is plenty to see and tour. We live down the street from the train station and or you can catch a bus to the subway. Plenty of eateries in the area. My significant other and I are empty nesters so we have room to welcome travellers in our home. We are a quiet house, we're in a quiet area. We have a front porch that's lovely in the summer with a glass of homemade lemonade. The only language that we speak is English. We love to go out dancing, the theatre, take a trip to NY, entertain our friends and family. Please note that our place is not suitable for children. We have no small children ourselves, and no pets. We are in a great location! We are served by bus and train, great public transport services that will take you where you need to go. Downtown is about 30 minutes away by train (the train station is just down the street from our home). There are lots of places to go for a drink, for a dance, or whatever entertainment you like downtown. Downtown you can also visit all the wonderful attractions - the Liberty Bell, all the museums that Philadelphia has to offer. We are about 2 hours away from NYC (New York City), and about 3 hours from Washington DC, so in a great location for guests who are looking to travel some more around the USA Close to our home is a supermarket, just down the street. We are also close to Vernon Park and to Blue Bell Park and Wissahickon Creek. Guests are welcome to use the kitchen for cooking.
