Laura is 65 years old and enjoys reading and learning other languages. She speaks Spanish. Nearby, there are supermarkets, restaurants, banks, pharmacies, and a post office. Everything you need is available. Very close to home. You can walk. If you rent a car, you can park it on the property and it will be safe. There's plenty of space. Welcome. The homestay with Laura was amazing and I am so glad I chose her as my host. From the moment she picked me up from the airport, I felt very safe and comfortable (I was travelling alone as a woman). She is very welcoming, friendly and I slept so well in her home. I could practise my Spanish with her but communicating in English also works well. I highly recommend this homestay. Thank you Laura!

I cannot say enough great things about my stay at Laura’s! I felt right at home the entire 3 weeks of my stay. Enjoyed traditional Costa Rican food and felt a true sense of “Pura Vida”! The home was kept very clean, the backyard space is completely tranquilo where I enjoyed my coffee every morning. The hardest part was having to leave! I know when I come back to Costa Rica that this is the place I will stay again. Hopefully for longer this time!

Laura is the best host I met in home stay. She is very helpful and cheerful. The house is near everything and in a very safe neighborhood called Sabanilla. Laura took me to watch movies and introduced me to friends which allowed me to explore the city even more and feel at home. Her house in gated and very safe, I used to leave the door open because there is a bigger gate for the entire community. I really loved staying at Laura's place and recommend her place to all homestay guests. I will certainly come back again and stay with Laura.

My welcome from Diana was excellent, and I found everything I needed there. They were very helpful with local advice, and the location is very easy to take a bus to downtown San Jose.

I will do the first portion in English, but Laura and Valeria were great. I was only there for 5 days, but I felt like I got to experience so much of what Costa Rica had to offer. Laura was great, as she provided breakfast; set up times with a Spanish tutor; and even gave me advice on places to visit in the region. If you are looking to visit with Laura, I highly recommend it. I can be expensive to visit Costa Rica, bus Sabanilla has so many attractions nearby which include: volcanos, the rainforest, beaches, and beautiful parks. If you have your own car, you can make these places no problem. But, if you are looking for a calm, relaxing place to stay, Laura is your host to go to. Haré la primera parte en inglés, pero Laura y Valeria fueron geniales. Estuve solo por 5 días, pero sentí que podía experimentar mucho de lo que Costa Rica tenía para ofrecer. Laura estuvo genial, mientras ella proveía el desayuno; establecer tiempos con un tutor de español; e incluso me dio consejos sobre lugares para visitar en la región. Si está buscando visitar a Laura, lo recomiendo encarecidamente. Puedo ser costoso visitar Costa Rica, el autobús Sabanilla tiene muchas atracciones cercanas que incluyen: volcanes, la selva tropical, playas y hermosos parques. Si tiene su propio automóvil, puede hacer que estos lugares no sean un problema. Pero, si busca un lugar tranquilo y relajante donde alojarse, Laura es su anfitrión a quien ir.

Me faltan corazones para valorar la solidaridad y disposición de Laura para ayudarme en este viaje tan complicado pues no tengo mi equipaje conmigo. El hogar de Laura es el mejor para permanecer en San José ,lo recomiendo 100 % como experiencia de viaje.
