You will enjoy the convenience and comforts of your own private bedroom and separate bathroom in this 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom townhouse located minutes from downtown Atlanta in the East Atlanta section, recently designated "third hottest neighborhood in the U.S. The house is a 20 minute car or taxi ride to Hartsfield-Jackson Airport, one of the largest hub airports in the U.S. with many direct international and domestic flights. There is also a bus that will take you to the train to get to the airport. You will share the house with the owner, a retired professor who is known for excellent cooking (world cuisines as well as American), entertaining guests, and an active schedule in the arts and education. Otherwise, it's a quiet house and friendly, gated community with lots of outdoor "green space" that was built in 2002. You should have many opportunities to meet new friends. Two indoor cats live here, too, Soka and Suchi, so I hope you like cats. The bus stops at the corner to connect to Atlanta's MARTA public transportation system with access to several college campuses and many of Atlanta's quintessential attractions. There's a lot of U.S. history to see in Atlanta, especially about the Civil War and the Civil Rights Movement, in addition to top quality museums, parks, theater, concerts, and a thriving local music scene.
