Live in a lovely suburb village with my Husband and Son. Our house is a nice size of five bedrooms, very comfortable, with no pets. Five minute walk to village with a wide choice of buses to city centre only 8km away. Also a bus ride away from Maynooth college also. Lucan village is a great area to stay and very safe.

Sharon and her husband and family are great hosts, friendly and supportive. I enjoyed my stay at their nice and well-kept house. The neighborhood is nice and safe, and it has a beautiful park. Nearby is also the beautiful St. Catherine's Park (about 10-15 minutes walking distance), that has great running trails, a wood and sports fields, and a coffee stand and farmer's market on the weekends. One needs to walk 15-20 minutes to get the bus to town (Dublin), however there is also a bus that goes to Lucan Village or in the other direction to Blanchardstown Shopping Centre every hour from the neighborhood. There is a small supermarket at Lucan Village (15-20 min walking distance) and a SuperValu and Tesco at about 30 min walking distance (there is also a bus that serves the route to the Tesco once per hour). Overall, it's a good choice for everyone who prefers a stay in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood with nature nearby.
