lovely Single Rooms with Garden

The suite downstairs has 2 bedrooms with it's own bathroom, kitchen and outside entrance. The yellow room has a single bed and the blue room has a single bed, as well. Small pets under control would be welcome. I have added our extra bedroom upstairs as an overflow room. If both the rooms downstairs are booked and someone is looking for a room for a couple of days, we would be happy to share our space. If you want help with your English, Susan has been a home-stay mom for foreign students at our local University, for almost 30 years and is happy to help. We have done a fair amount of travelling ourselves and love the experiences we have had. There are many delightful places to visit on Vancouver Island. Want to make s'mores? We have a fire pit in the back yard plus a pergola set up for eating and/or lounging. Ask for more information.

A nice place to stay if you are looking for something short-term, close to downtown, not too exquisite and want to save money. The couple were nice and friendly.

We were very pleased with our stay at Susan's home. We stayed only one night and part of a day. Susan picked us up at the BC Ferries station and drove us to her home for $10. Susan and her family were very friendly and welcoming. We had a small but comfortable bedroom in the basement. Our only suggestion to improve the room is a carpet to warm the floor. We had our choice of many different kinds of breakfast. Overall we give a very positive review. Thank you Susan.
