Casa della Terrazza
This tranquil Venetian haven is spread over four floors in the city's San Marco district. The rooftop terrace offers space to dine alfresco and some lovely views over the rooftops of the surrounding buildings. There are a lot of stairs here, making it unsuitable for children under the age of 6, but babies and older children are welcome. The main living space is on the second floor with multiple Juliet balconies – they're great for letting the outdoors in, but you won't have room to sit out on them. The kitchen is small, but fear not – there's a range of restaurants within walking distance, as well as vaporetto stops close by for exploring.
*You can't drive in Venice, but this home is close to water taxi stops for getting around.
*While babies are welcome, this home isn't suitable for toddlers or children over the age of 6.
*This home is spread over four floors with lots of steps.
*The balconies here are Juliet balconies, without room to stand or sit out on.
