The Modern Michelangelo
Practically neighbouring the Duomo, this stylish apartment gets top marks for location. The cathedral is moments away – the red dome literally looms over the street outside – while other must-see landmarks like the Uffizi Galleries and Galleria dell'Accademia are easily reached on foot. Shops, restaurants, and all the other bits and bobs are within walking distance, too. We love the design back home – think white-washed beams, a contemporary living space with plenty of room to spread out, and a cosy lofted bedroom. While a pair will sleep on the sofa bed, we still think it's a comfortable and central option.
*Well-behaved pets are welcome to join you upon request.
*At full capacity, two guests will sleep on a sofa bed in the living area.
*The bedroom is lofted, so it does lack some privacy.
*There's a lift in the building, but it requires a flight of five steps to reach.
*Parking isn't provided, but you won't need a car here. Instead of driving, we suggest exploring on foot – many landmarks are easily reached on foot.
