Located in Midtown, just three blocks away from the Empire State Building, this studio style apartment may not win any design prizes, but would make a perfectly pleasant base for guests wanting to stay in this part of town. The main room is lovely and light, and we particularly like the old wood floors too.
* The apartment is on the 5th floor of this building - 64 steps up from the street
* There's only one proper bed so guest 3 will be on a single futon bed
* There's no proper living room
* There are some rather unsightly garbage containers in the lobby area
* There's some construction going on nearby so there might be some associated noise during the daytime
* The kitchen is extremely small and not exactly state of the art
* The bathroom feels dated and the grouting in the tiling could do with some love and affection
