With views as far as the Mediterranean coast on a clear day, it’s not hard to see why this traditional, semi-detached villa made it into our collection. We love the invitation to outdoor living here – after all, how can you resist sunny alfresco meals on the private terrace, or soaking up the sun from in or beside the communal pool? Locally, you’ll find villages with restaurants and shops, while the nearest town, Roccalbegna, is nine kilometres away. After a visit, make sure you pop by Saturnia, too, for the thermal springs and Etruscan ruins.
*This home is set on a resort alongside neighbouring homes. Expect to bump into other guests during your stay.
*You'll have access to three on-site swimming pools, open between May and October, and a Jacuzzi here. They're shared with the resort's other residents.
*The swimming pools aren't fenced. If you're bringing children, they'll need to be supervised at all times.
*Your host can provide a cot and high chair for free. You'll need to request them in advance.
*The bedroom curtains here don't fully block out the sunlight. If you're hoping to enjoy a lie-in, you might want to pack an eye mask.
*Due to this home's location, we recommend hiring a car to get the most out of your stay. On-site parking is available here.
