Before you get to know your surroundings, peruse the shelves of curiosities or get comfortable on the sofa and flick through a hardback book pulled from your host’s collection. The Duomo, Royal Palace and Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II are on your doorstep and the apartment is a minute from the Missori metro stop should you want to explore further afield. When dinner time rolls around, we recommend taking the fifteen-minute stroll to the romantic Brera neighbourhood for stylish restaurants and old-school osterie.
