What's a Venetian home without a canal view? This single-floor home in the heart of San Marco allows you to watch the gondolas go past from the living room window, while the garden view in three of the bedrooms offers some serenity. We felt the interior is a little parred back here, but the wooden beams overhead are a nice touch. There is limited seating in the living room, so at capacity, you might be more motivated to take advantage of the proximity to landmarks like the Piazza San Marco. And come dinnertime, you'll find several eateries within 100 yards of your front door.
*If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a cot and high chair for free. You'll need to request them in advance.
*There's no lift here. You'll need to be able to climb one flight of stairs to reach the entrance of the home.
*Well-behaved pets are welcome to accompany you during your stay upon request.
*Since the photoshoot, the living room has undergone some changes. It may look different from the photos.
*The bedroom curtains here don't fully block out the sunlight. If you're hoping to enjoy a lie-in, you might want to pack an eye mask.
*While the home can sleep up to ten people, the maximum occupancy is nine guests. At full occupancy, one guest will be sleeping on the sofa bed in the living area.
