Found at the foot of the iconic Mount Etna, this modern villa has the mountain to one side and ocean views to the other. The panoramic landscapes are, in part, what drew our eye to this family pad, but we also like this home's proximity to the Alcantara Gorges and coast. To make the most of the Sicilian climate, there's a private pool and ample outdoor seating – including sun loungers on the balcony that would be perfect for sunset cocktails – all surrounded by citrus trees. Throw in spacious rooms and plenty of natural light, and you can see what's to like here.
*We suggest hiring a car for ease – there's parking space available here. *The swimming pool isn't fenced. If you're bringing little ones, they'll need to be supervised at all times. *There's a ground-floor bedroom and bathroom here. *Given the home's central spot, expect to hear some street noise throughout your stay. *If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a cot and high chair for free. You'll need to request them in advance. *Toiletries aren't provided, so you'll need to bring your own. If you want to stock up on arrival, the nearest supermarket is an eleven-minute drive away. *Hen and stag parties are strictly not allowed at this home.
