Just steps from the gorgeous Lake Como, this charming apartment is spread over three levels with a lot of stairs. We think the private balcony is a highlight here – there's enough space to sit out and gaze across the lake with an evening drink or a light breakfast. Being in the centre of Varenna, some street noise can be expected, but this can be remedied with earplugs. Public transport is easily accessible, whether you're catching a train to Milan at the Varenna-Esino railway station or heading to the ferry depot and discovering the beauty of Lake Como.
*This home is in an apartment building in a central location, just 700 metres from the nearest train station, so there is a chance you may hear some noise from the street and from neighbours during your stay. *At full capacity, two guests will sleep on the double sofa bed in the living room. *The bedroom is on the first floor while the living room is on the second floor, so climbing stairs will be required here. *The fireplace here is purely for decoration and not for use.
