Spend idyllic days in the Cornish countryside when you stay at this recently converted barn, situated a twelve-minute drive from beautiful Padstow. Enjoy long walks on the South West Coast Path – the cliff tops at Park Head offer incredible views across to the sea stacks at Bedruthan Steps (a ten-minute ride away). Back at this wonderful barn – it's perfect for a family or a group of friends looking for a tranquil retreat. Inside, we were blown away by the rustic charm mixed with elegant modernism. We love the Delabole slate bathrooms, exposed stone walls and vaulted beams throughout this home. In fact, this place has been designed with socialising and entertaining in mind – it's a great space to spend quality time together. On chillier days, curl up in front of the cosy wood-burning stoves in the living room or den and settle in for an evening of board games with the family. There are four acres of grounds to explore here, including orchards and wildflower meadows. There's even an outdoor shower, so you can rinse off after visiting the beach – your lovely hosts have really thought of everything here. Our favourite spot in the garden has to be the magical summerhouse – savour the spectacular views that stretch to the Atlantic Ocean or recline on the day bed and read a book. It's just one of the many fantastic features that make this home so very special.
*The fire pit or the barbecue can't be placed on the patio – they need to be kept on the grass
