Nestled within the Cotswold Water Park, there's an abundance of activities to try and places to explore – when you're not just hanging out on your waterside deck, that is. The home is spread across three floors, so every family member can seek out their own space to unwind and find a bit of solitude, and there's a homely feel to the place. Spend your days enjoying water sports on the lake, fishing from your garden, horse riding or walking the many lush trails. If that's not enough, the on-site attractions should offer something for everyone with tennis courts, croquet and football goals. Even if you're unlucky with the weather, the home has all sorts of streaming options so you can watch your favourite films, and there are board games and children's toys for a more low tech approach to rainy day entertainment. As the day winds to a close, light up the barbecue and enjoy an alfresco family dinner overlooking the water before hopping into that private hot tub.
