There’s not much better than lazing on a sun lounger and feeling the balmy breeze on your face, is there? This hilltop villa is surrounded by lush olive groves and offers incredible panoramas of the entire island of Zakynthos. A dip in the pool comes with a side of sea views, enhanced by the inviting aroma of the orange and lemon trees planted around the property.
The kitchen boasts views of the Ionian Sea, while the veranda – an ideal spot for dinner – showcases the natural beauty of the island. The first-floor bedrooms all have a balcony, so you can drink in the vista from the moment you wake up.
Make the most of the enviable location by booking a day of sailing. Take in Zakynthos’ majestic coastline from the water, and perhaps find a quiet cove where you can enjoy a picnic lunch. If you prefer to stay on terra firma, the villa is a mere 1.5km from Bochali, one of the most picturesque parts of the island, and home to a gorgeous harbour.
There are plenty of beaches within striking distance, but our favourite is Tsilivi, the second largest on the island. The white sand and crystal clear waters are just a ten-minute drive away from the villa, so you can be back in plenty of time to fire up the barbecue.
