Poet's Vineyard
Nestled in a valley of vineyards and olive groves, this tranquil country house estate, just a ten-minute drive away from Tsilivi Beach, offers an authentic taste of Zakynthos. It is set in the historic village of Agios Kyrykos, which boasts strong ties to some of the island's best wineries. The estate itself also has an impressive wine heritage, having harvested one of the most popular grape varieties within the region for the best part of two centuries. We recommend popping by the village for a bottle of the good stuff, best enjoyed perched by the pool at sunset, glass in hand, gazing out to the fruit trees kissing the horizon.
Though reminiscent of classic manor houses, the villa is newly-built, offering modern interiors with enough space to accommodate eight guests. In the lounge, floor-to-ceiling doors open up to the glorious sundeck, which offers a pool and hydro-massage, as well as a barbecue and a large dining table – perfect for alfresco dining. Perhaps the star of the show, though, is the home's heavenly views of the natural landscape, spanning uninterrupted as far as the eye can see.
