On the southern coast of Lefkas, the azure waters of the Ionian Sea stretch out for miles. This island plays host to the spectacular Mount Elati, and the foot of the mountain is just a fifteen-minute drive from this coastal villa. En route, you’ll also pass by the Fabbrica Olive Museum, housed in an old olive oil factory. But if you’re more interested in beaches, you’ll have plenty of choice too.
Six minutes from Vasiliki Beach, this villa stands tall by cliffs that are simply made for panoramic views. In traditional style, the home has white plaster balustrades around its terrace and balconies, as well as terracotta roof tiles and native foliage at its entrance. However, the interiors are surprisingly modern. Understated furniture, a white tiled floor, and a neutral colour scheme allow for the main feature to stand out – that view.
Open the curtains to see rolling hills, quaint coastal towns, and of course the big blue sea. And if you peer over the edge a bit more, look down to your very own covered terraces, and a pool area on the lower ground level. Sun loungers, a stone-built barbecue, and parasols complete the poolside vibe, with striking views continuing over the edge.
