Come dinnertime, fire up the barbecue grill, open a bottle of wine and eat outside on the terrace. The views alone are worth staying for – Zakynthos town, the cliffs at Chrystal beach and the small island of Pelouz are all visible from the balcony – but the cosy living space, comfortable bedrooms and fully-stocked kitchen make staying here a breeze.
When you crave a seaside day, hop in the car and drive ten minutes to Laganas Beach or for a daytime excursion, rent a boat and visit the caves on Marathonisi Island. Lively Zante Town is only fifteen minutes by car if you're in the mood for nightclubs, gourmet eateries and sightseeing – although there are plenty of tavernas and beachfront restaurants nearby if you're not up for a drive.
