Modica itself is a Unesco town with years of history to explore. Wander its wonderful streets and make sure to indulge in lots of chocolate here – the town has a 400-year tradition of Sicilian chocolate making. We recommend checking out the centrepiece of the town, the Duomo di San Giorgio, which is one of the most spectacular sights of Baroque architecture in Sicily. But if days walking around is too much, then why not spend a day at one of the fine beaches in this area? Sampieri is one of the most famous and it's only a twenty-eight-minute drive. No matter what you choose to do during the day, we guarantee you'll end up spending your evenings on this home's balcony watching the lights of Modica twinkle at night while sipping on a glass of something tasty.
