This villa sits magnificently by the water, just a six-minute drive from the bustling town of Augusta, or half an hour from Syracuse if you’re looking for something a bit more metropolitan. That said, when you’ve got your very own slice of the seaside in this home, it might be tempting to stay put.
Sitting right on the island’s coastline, your Martini isn’t the only thing on the rocks. This villa has its own private access path down to the shore. But if wild swimming isn’t your thing, you’ve also got a huge infinity pool on your terrace. You could spend the entire day floating here with a cocktail in hand, but other options include barbecues on the lush lawn or brunches on the patio.
On a rare, rainy day, serve up Italian cuisine on one of two dining tables inside. The playful interiors are sure to brighten your day, with a modern, yellow-themed kitchen and rich red tones running through the living space. And the final primary colour is of course the magnificent view of the azure sea, pool, and traditional wooden shutters to match.
