Despite its remoteness, the house is just a few minutes by car or boat from the vibrant archipelago town of Vaxholm, with its tempting bakeries, fishmongers selling fresh seafood, a surprisingly international array of restaurants, plus supermarkets for stocking up on essentials. However, it's easy enough to maintain your island idyll should you want to.
With a private beach, a stunning sauna that looks out over the water, a private dock for jumping off afterwards, plus an expansive lawn for picnic lunches and outdoor games, why would you want to leave?
