The sunny, hilly garden with its olive and cypress trees extends for more than 1500m2. Enjoy a Tuscan feast in the outdoor dining area – we adore the views from here. Or have a glass of Prosecco in the secluded hot tub located on a rock. There's a gorgeous swimming pool, too, overlooking the sea and the valley.
Inside, we love the chic interpretation of the rustic interior style. Select a bottle of wine from the cellar and cosy up in front of one of the fires if the weather turns chilly. This place is perfect for a family or group of friends looking for complete tranquillity.
If you can tear yourself away from this Italian paradise, there are plenty of treasures to explore. The medieval town of Pietrasanta is 15 kilometres away, while it's 20 kilometres from the seaside city of Viareggio. It's around the same distance to Forte Dei Marmi, while Lucca and Pisa are 40 kilometres from this special home.
*Please note the access is via a 4x4 Panda which Federico provides, and then from the private parking, there's an 80-metre path to the home, so we'd recommend having smalls bags rather than large luggage
*The village is mainly pedestrian and is hilly and so it may not be ideal for people with limited mobility or guests who dislike driving up steep roads
*There is no public transport to reach the village
*The pool and hot tub do not have gates, something to bear in mind if you have young children (the stunning hillside garden is on different levels with no railings)
*There are stairs to climb here
*Pisa International Airport is forty-five minutes away, while Florence International Airport is one hour and a quarter in the car
