Right in the heart of France's Three Valleys lies Courchevel, one of the most famous ski resorts in the Alps. Powder fresh pistes, miles and miles of ski runs and one of the longest ski seasons in the area will impress those keen to hit the slopes. You'll find this apartment in the village, just a stone's throw from lifts, gourmet restaurants and eateries. As far as locales go, you can't beat it.
When you're not exploring this idyllic corner of the Alps, make yourself comfortable back at home. Ditch your gear in the on-site ski locker, then relax sore muscles with a session in the shared sauna or a yoga lesson. The balcony is actually our favourite spot – the snow-capped mountain view is incredibly hard to resist. Regardless of the weather, we think it's the ideal backdrop for sunset glasses of French wine and steaming mugs of hot chocolate – sounds postcard-perfect to us.
Inside, the chalet-chic design evokes that warm and homey feeling as soon as you step inside – picture wood-clad walls, faux fur throws and a gleaming contemporary kitchen that's a dream for whipping up family feasts. There are catering options available here, too – whether you fancy pre-made breakfasts, Michelin-starred dinners delivered straight to your door or a private chef, you'll be well looked after by your friendly hosts.

*The room with the bunkbed is pretty small – we think it's best suited to children
*The shared wellness area is closed during the summer, and is only open between 1st December and 30th April
*There's no front desk here and you'll be able to check yourself in with a smart-lock on arrival – however, there's on-the-ground staff available if you need any assistance
*There may not be a washing machine or dryer here
