Located in the heart of Colmar's historic centre, this convenient apartment provides an idyllic base from which to soak up the city, its sights and its fantastic food and drink scene. You do, however, have a nice-sized kitchen and dining table here, allowing you to dine out or eat in as much as you like. And with an open-plan set-up of the main living area, the space calls for sociable affairs among guests. The views of the city's Dominican Church aren't bad, either.

With quality Alsation wine and a wealth of local culinary delights waiting to be tantalised here, it's safe to say your tastebuds will be in for a treat. But with the majestic chocolate-box architecture and Unterlinden Museum just steps away from the apartment, get ready for a whimsical stay worth writing home about.

*Parking in Colmar can be tricky, so we recommend sticking to the easily accessible public transport where possible – though we think the best way to see the city is on foot
