There’s plenty of history to discover away from the apartment, too, with the majestic Acropolis just a stone’s throw away. Spend a day looking at mysterious artefacts that once lived inside the ancient ruins of the citadel.
Be sure to grab a bottle of wine on your way home, which is best enjoyed from the shared roof terrace, which offers views over the Parthenon temple and beyond. When it comes to admiring the scenery, you have multiple spots to choose from – the balcony is the perfect place to enjoy a coffee and gaze upon the typical Athenian houses.
