The design is decidedly Provence-inspired (think olive green window shutters and wrought iron balconies), and this is echoed in the pretty French interiors. The many balconies and terraces, however, are entirely Ionian and offer spectacular views over the rugged Zakynthos coastline and across the blue ocean to Kefalonia. Wake up to the Greek sunshine and pick a spot to sip your morning coffee whilst admiring the scenery around you.
The outdoor space doesn't stop there, either. The swimming pool is framed with pretty Mediterranean plants, providing a gorgeous scent on the warm evening breeze. What's more, a picturesque beach is just minutes away, if you're craving some salty sea air. If you're feel like exploring the island a little further, Agios Nikolaos harbour is within an easy distance by car, where you'll find traditional tavernas by the water as well as some upmarket restaurants if you fancy treating yourself for lunch.
Once you've had enough adventure for the day, head home to craft some delicious food on the open grill for dinner. There's a secluded dining spot here which is covered if you need to escape the sun for a while until evening falls – gather the family and eat alfresco with a bottle of wine and watch the sky change colour over the town in the distance.
