Lush gardens surround a modern, lavish villa where palm fronds rustle in the sea breeze and a turquoise pool invites you for a midday dip. Around the poolside, you’ll find an outdoor shower to wash sandy feet, and a handful of outdoor lounges – some shaded by pergolas and some set up in the sun.
The open-plan living area inside is awash with light, thanks to walls of glass looking out to the terrace and beach beyond. It feels cool in both senses of the word – exposed white-brick walls and a warehouse-style finish keep things breezy and stylish inside. There’s plenty of room to cook in the light-wood kitchen, courtesy of two central islands and oodles of countertop space. Breakfast is a delight at the tables by floor-to-ceiling windows. When it comes to getting some shut-eye, we love the carved wooden bedframes – a four-poster fit for a princess and natural polished wood that could have been collected from the beach. This place certainly embraces its seaside location.
