One of Corfu’s most popular and picturesque beaches is right on the doorstep of this deluxe villa. A private path leads from the terrace to the sand of Paleokastritsa beach where boats for snorkelling trips, tavernas for long lunches and shaded loungers await. So, you can join the crowds on the beach or opt for the privacy of your terrace, overlooking the sea. Sunsets here are particularly spectacular – illuminating the coastline in golden light – perhaps best enjoyed from the covered lounge area with a cold drink in hand. A porticoed veranda covers sofas and chairs all facing the sea and the serene swimming pool invites you for a dip in the heat of the day.
Pull back the glass doors and let the beachy breeze into the open living area. In here, a lofty wooden ceiling lets the air circulate and the decor is a soothing medley of scavenged artefacts – twisting rope lights above the long dining table and driftwood pieces throughout. We love the blue feature wall by the huge corner sofa which shimmers like the sea outside. Wicker accents in peaceful bedrooms create that by-the-beach feel and glass doors lead straight to the terrace.
*Having a car is not necessary but there is private parking for up to four cars
*While some of the bedrooms and bathrooms aren't photographed, we expect the style and quality to be consistent with the rest of the home
*This home consists of a main villa and an annexe with its own entrance
*At capacity, two people will be on the sofa bed in the annexe and two will be on single beds in the attic space
*The double beds can all be converted into two singles, just ask your host in advance
*Your host can provide a cot and high chair for infants on request
*There is a doorbell camera and security system
*A maid service six days a week (linen is changed twice a week) and continental breakfast are included with a stay here
