The breathtaking, rugged coast is under 5 minutes walk away, where the coastal-path leads directly to the beautiful seaside village of Praia da Luz. Walking from the coastal path in to Luz takes around 10 -15 minutes.
Praia da Luz has a lovely clean, safe beach with lots of restaurants, bars and cafés; two banks, shops for everything you are likely to need and all in a very attractive setting. It is an ideal resort for family holidays, with safe beach, water sports and activities...artists and and local stall holders line the beach-side promenade.
Luz has two supermarkets ……Spar and Baptista, both supplying fresh produce and a great selection of wine.
Baptista Market Deli across the road from the main Baptista, sells fresh fish and home made desserts.
The area has some of the best beaches in the Algarve : clean, golden, and sheltered. The famous Costa Vicentina National Park is close-by and there are a number of exceptional golf courses within easy reach.
Lagos is around a 10-minute drive away and one of the most visited cities in the Algarve due to its variety of tourist-friendly beaches, rock formations at the beautiful beach of Ponta da Piedade
Lagos has bars, restaurants and hotels, renowned for its vibrant summer nightlife and parties Yet, Lagos is also a historic centre of the Portuguese.
