Walking through the front door, you enter an open space with a mod retro feel, mostly due to the cool green and white striped walls. Your apartment is located right on the border between Dergano and Bovisa, in northern Milan, which is excellent news if you’re a student at the Polytechnic University of Milan. Campus Durando, home of the schools of Design and Architecture, is a 5-minute walk from your front door; campus La Massa, home of the schools of Engineering, is just 15 minutes away. It’s no wonder that the formerly industrial area is becoming gentrified and a hotbed for students and artists. The Dergano-Bovisa Library is right around the corner, and there’s even an amazing used book store nearby. Piazza Giovanni Bausan is less than 5 minutes away, and around there you’ll find many other stores, restaurants, supermarkets and anything else you may need.
