Description: Villa-House in Livingston TX
Renovated, Charming, in Livingston
This is a Seasonal Rental with a maximum of 6 month term.
Welcome to your Livingston vacation home! Make yourself comfortable and enjoy all the charm this little house has to offer.
Park your vehicle in our drive way and check in using our coded keypad access (meaning you can check in as late as you wish).
You will enter into the kitchen/dining area where you will find brand new appliances and all the kitchen utensils needed to cook during your stay. You will also find pantry items such as salt, pepper, tomato ketchup, mustard, spices, tea and coffee. Check out the dining table and benches, made from Alder and locally sourced Fir.
Off to the right of the front door you will find the Master bedroom, with queen bed, nightstands and dresser, hand crafted (by my husband) from local spruce salvaged from blow-down, and a built-in closet to store all of your clothes. The bedding is a European style duvet with tasteful covers to match the soothing blue décor and fresh sheets and towels. We want you to have a great night’s sleep!
On chilly Montana evenings (or days!), light the wood stove and curl up on the couch with a book or a movie. You will find Netflix on the Smart TV, books by Montana authors, and plenty of extra wood in the lean-to.
The second bedroom has a full bed and nightstand, also hand-made from local wood. One feature I hope you will love about this room is the rustic wood paneling on the walls. You will find a built in closet with hangers and shelves and some western photography taken by my sister-in law Annie Carroccia.
The bathroom is small but functional; the shower is hot and has good pressure!
On those beautiful summer evenings, enjoy our landscaped and well-maintained yard; your kids may love to play out here too - my little girl loves to scramble up and down the rock wall.
Although our garage is not suitable to park vehicles, it is great for storing skis, fishing poles, bikes and other outdoor gear.
Just in case you need them, you can also be sure to find the following items:
Washer and dryer – with fast wash and dry times!
A hair dryer
An Iron and Ironing Board
For your little ones we can provide a high chair, a pack and play and an extra cot with sleeping bag.
We don't think these are "negatives" but we think you should know about them before you book:
1) The house is located fairly close to the rail road in Livingston so there may be some noise from trains.
2) The house is older and the roof is sloped along the front of the house, this means lower ceilings in parts of the house.
3) Our yard is not fenced at the front.
4) Our driveway is only big enough for one car (no RVs), we can fit our extended bed truck on it but it takes some maneuvering!
5) The size of the house is around 920 square feet
Here are some more details about our location:
Situated on the North side of the railroad tracks in a quiet residential neighborhood, we are one mile from downtown Livingston where you will find numerous bars and restaurants to choose from, art galleries to browse and the beautiful Sacagawea Park.
If you are planning a trip to YELLOWSTONE PARK we are about an hour away from the North Entrance, a scenic drive through Paradise Valley.
The famous Yellowstone River runs right through Livingston, with some world-class FISHING at your fingertips there should be enough here to keep most avid anglers pretty happy!
I recommend you squeeze in time for a soak in the HOT SPRINGS at Chico - about half an hour’s drive from the house.
If SKIING is your thing we are located about 30 miles from Bridger Bowl and Bohart Ranch Cross Country Ski Center.
