We have airport / bus transfer service at an additional cost. About the owner: I am 54 years old and I have been an actor for 32 years. I created the `House of the Actors` with structure and resources for the beginners, with the aim of encouraging and supporting the career aspirants of the performing arts and to develop artistic and cultural activities in the region of Camorim. Despite having an initial focus on the artistic area, I am very pleased to receive guests with varied goals, destinations and backgrounds. I believe that this exchange brings great professional and personal enrichment. About the neighborhood: The district of Camorim belongs to the administrative district of Barra da Tijuca, in the West Zone of the city of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. True oasis in Rio de Janeiro, both in relation to green and security, Camorim is located between Barra da Tijuca, Jacarepaguá, Vargem Pequena and Vargem Grande. In the last decades, the area of ??Jacarepaguá was highly valued by reason of the Olympic Games of 2016 (Olympic Park). In Camorim, we find a well diversified trade (supermarkets, malls, restaurants, bars, etc), TV Globo studios (PROJAC), as well as sites, farms, middle class residences and one of the largest convention centers in Latin America - the Riocentro, inaugurated in 1977. The neighborhood is situated in the area of ??Pedra Branca State Park (PEPB), which is considered to be the largest urban forest reserve in the world. It comprises a total of 12,500 hectares of area covered by vegetation typical of the Atlantic Forest, where the Peak of White Stone stands out, culminating point of the city with 1,024 meters of altitude. Today the park is under the protection of the State Forest Institute Foundation (IEF). Also located in the park is the Alto Camorim community, one of the three remaining quilombos in Rio de Janeiro, along with Pedra do Sal, in the neighborhood of Saúde, and Sacopã, near the Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon. Distributed by about 200 houses, the group survives from family farming and serves as an example of harmonious integration with nature. The park provides a great service to the population of Rio de Janeiro, as it is responsible for supplying important dams: Pau da Fome, Camorim, Taxas and Engenho Novo. In addition, the Pedra Branca has several options of ecological trails and walks.
