Residents of the Valley View Apartments can access Highway 14 less than one mile to the north, and from there can head towards Brookings to the West or Mankato to the East.

LAMBERTON
There is a vibrant business district, churches, service organizations, emergency services and friendly people. Recreation activities include a swimming pool, Central Park with picnic shelters and playground equipment and Kuhar Park which is located on the scenic Cottonwood River. Red Rock Central High School is located in Lamberton.
Lamberton is situated along Highway 14, just to the west of New Ulm. The Red Rock Central School District serves the cities of Lamberton, Sanborn, Storden and Jeffers. Campus is located just a few blocks north of the property. The Valley View Apartments are on the south side of Lamberton. This is an ideal location, being that it is right across 9th Avenue from our Saviour’s Lutheran Church, the community pool , and the local school. Being on the souther edge of town provides residents with beautiful views of the prairie. However the size of the town allows for walkability to any of the local retailers, entertainment options and amenities.
WHY CHOOSE LAMBERTON?
Major employers include the Meadowlands Farmers Co-Op, Red Rock Central Schools, Valley View Manor Nursing Facility and French Ag Research Inc. The DM&E Railroad runs through Lamberton daily.
Lamberton is also home to the University of Minnesota’s Southwest Research Outreach Center. Founded in 1959, the center is now an 840 acre research facility. The primary faculty and the Advisory Committee collaborate with technicians, scientists and the community on multiple research endeavors. On- going research at the center includes soils, crops, entomology, pathology, horticulture, water quality and forestry. The Southwest Research Outreach Center is one of six research stations in the State and is the foremost center for agriculture research in southwest Minnesota.
In addition to the businesses that drive the daily cogs of the community (banks, hardware, American Legion, etc), Lamberton has several clinics (including one in the Mayo Health System), a dental office and a nursing home.
