    Room in York, Ireland-North

    €872 EUR /Month • Term: Monthly (Furnished)

  • So much to do in York medieval city

Retired but still active, we welcome travellers to our wonderful York, to experience real Yorkshire hospitality, food and the unique culture the area has to offer. We let out 2 rooms, both light and airy and with stunning views over a field, a golf course and a little lake, yet we are just 3 stops on a bus that goes to the city centre every 10 minutes! You can just stay, or let us show you this fantastic area. No pets here, but we feed the garden birds that come into our little private garden. Our house is over 100 and we furnish it with a mix of antique and modern furniture, but it is always comfortable, clean and cosy. We have a big shared, busy family room and a quiet lounge. We enjoy cooking local and international meals, will cater for special diets for a small extra price, but you can also use the modern kitchen for drinks and snacks only. Please note, we now reserve the right to refuse guests if the coronavirus is a threat.local ...

    Untold Treasures

Positioned between city and rural for a stimulating stay with family or friends, this Belfast home is in a great location to explore the best of Northern Ireland. As it isn’t centrally located, we’d recommend a car to get around here – with twenty-minutes via Glider getting you to the city centre and the opposite direction a range of outdoor pursuits on Strangford Lough. That said, it’s an admirably designed home with a garden large enough to gather for a drink or two after a day of exploring. *There's free parking for cars on the driveway*This home is spread over two floors – it may not be suitable for those with limited mobility*Due to the location of this home, we recommend hiring a car to get the most out of your stay Carbon Monoxide DetectorCentral HeatingCooking EssentialsDishwasherFree ParkingFree Parking On StreetFreezerFridgeGardenHair DryerIronIroning BoardKettleKitchenKitchen UtensilsLaptop Friendly WorkspaceMicrowaveOvenPa...

    Quirk of Art

This home in south Belfast dates back to the 1930s and looks fairly typical from the outside, but behind the front door lies an explosion of colour, vintage furnishings and all sorts of eclectic decorations – you probably won't be surprised to learn that this characterful interior design was put together by an illustrator-slash-designer. The home's small terrace is another welcome touch, but the huge Ormeau Park is five minutes' walk up the road when you're after a larger green space. You're well sorted for trendy cafes, restaurants and shops on the adjoining Ormeau Road, too. *The home is spread across two floors and there are no bedrooms on the ground level *There's private parking available for guests *This home is in a central spot, so noise is to be expected *Though there isn't a dedicated desk here, the dining table doubles up as a laptop-friendly workspace BathtubCarbon Monoxide DetectorCentral HeatingCooking EssentialsDishwas...

Kick off your shoes and enjoy a glass of wine on the sofa, or settle in for a movie night – with both Netflix and Amazon Prime you’ll have plenty of options to choose from. The sparkling kitchen invites you to put together a quick meal which you can enjoy at the dining table – this is also a great spot for catching up on some work on your laptop. Factor in the luxuriously comfy bedrooms, with their soft, neutral colour pallet, and the light-filled modern bathroom and we think you’ve got everything to make your stay extra relaxing. Shooting Goals

Whether you’re here for work, a football game or on a cultural trip to Belfast, this minimal but practical spot is a good place to call home. Though simplistic in its design, there are all the necessary mod-cons you could need – a well-equipped kitchen, a cosy living room and a comfortable master bedroom (we think the bunks in the second bedroom are best suited to children). You’ll find the Ulster Museum and a host of restaurants nearby, though if you’re seeking more variety, you’re just 3 miles from the city centre. *This home is spread over two floors, with no internal lift – it may not be suitable for those with limited mobility*The décor here is on the simpler side and the aesthetics are not up to Plum Guide's usual standards – we've made an exception to let this one into the collection on account of its great location*Parties are not permitted here*We think the bunk beds in the second bedroom are best suited to children*The dining...

And while the balcony is only a Juliette, you’ll make the most of the city views at every opportunity. *There's free secure parking at this home *This home is in a central spot, so noise is to be expected *The style here is on the simpler side – we've let this one into the collection on account of its great location *Though there isn't a dedicated desk here, the kitchen bar doubles up as a laptop-friendly workspace *There's self check-in with a lockbox here *Lanyon Place Station and Great Victoria Street Station are each around a fifteen-minute walk away Carbon Monoxide DetectorCentral Heati...

Back at home, the dining table doubles as a laptop-friendly space and the double bed is soft and comfortable. It’s worth noting this home is on the third floor with no lift, so access may be tricky for those with limited mobility. *Free parking is available in front of the building*This home is located on the third floor with no lift*Though there isn't a dedicated desk here, the dining table doubles up as a laptop-friendly workspace*You’ll check yourself in using a lockbox Carbon Monoxide DetectorCentral HeatingCooking EssentialsFree ParkingFreezerFridgeIronIroning BoardKettleKitchenKitchen UtensilsLaptop Friendly WorkspaceMicrowaveSmoke Det...

    The Brackendale

This cottage is part of a 470-acre estate inhabited since the 12th century. This cottage dates back to 1680 and was part of a renovation that saw the estate converted into a working farm and self-catering accommodation. The historic charm has been retained – we love the drawing room, which boasts floor-to-ceiling windows and a cosy fireplace. It also looks out over the sunken garden. The setting is idyllic, on the northern tip of Upper Lough Erne – there are eight islands to explore. There’s also a local pub within a mile. *We recommend bringing a car to get the most out of your stay. There’s free on-site parking. *While only some bathrooms have been photographed, we expect the style and standard to be consistent with the rest of the home. *This home is located on a 470-acre estate.
