Perched on the hillside above the caster-sugar sweep of sand that is Polis Beach, the private patio faces west – so you can catch the golden hour reflecting on the water every evening. There’s a table for dining and drinks out here and a couple of sun loungers to make the most of the rays during the day. The villa itself is pretty in pink, and filled with Greek tradition inside. Think stone-built sofas, terracotta tiles and crisp white walls. A charming medley of darkwood furniture feels old-world. We love the sunny bedroom, with its window out to the bay and double glass doors opening straight onto the terrace. Follow the private path straight down to Polis Beach, a short stroll away.
