Right between Piazza Navona and Campo de’ Fiori, Refosco is in a bustling location, but inside it’s peaceful. Rich colours and plants, along with lots of decoration, create the interior design equivalent of a hug. The layout means that it’s perhaps best suited to families, or at least people who are comfortable being in close proximity, but if that doesn’t pose a problem, then it’s got a lot going for it. *The layout of the flat is rather strange – you can see from the floor plan, but you have to go through the bedrooms to get to the bathroom *There's only one bathroom, and it doesn't have any windows *For longer stays, your hosts might ask you to help out by watering the plants *Even though there's a lift most of the way to the flat, there's still a short flight of stairs you'll have to take Air Conditioning Buzzer / Wireless Intercom Carbon Monoxide Detector Central Heating Child Friendly Cof...

Tempus has pretty much everything going for it. Not only is it in the very centre of Monti (on a backstreet though, so it’s pretty quiet), but the design shows off a lovely mix of original brick archways and modern, almost industrial touches. The enormous kitchen island is a dream, and we haven’t come across many more inviting bathrooms than the little grotto here. It’s very bright, thanks to the plate glass windows, but these also bring about the only flaw we could find – you’re definitely in a bit of a fishbowl. *There are floor-to-ceiling windows that look out directly onto the street at ground level *The entire flat's very open and there's no privacy between bedrooms *Two guests will be sleeping in the sofa bed in the living room Air Conditioning Bathtub Buzzer / Wireless Intercom Carbon Monoxide Detector Central Heating Child Friendly Coffee Maker Cooking Essentials Dishwasher Electric...
Live like a Roman at this traditional apartment in the centuries-old Testaccio neighbourhood, sitting right on the pretty piazza. Surround yourself with history and culture, and be just a short stroll from the Circus Maximus, the Jewish Ghetto and the district of Trastevere. You'll find plenty of friendly bars and authentic restaurants nearby, as well as a village-like atmosphere running through the cobbled streets. And, after a day of sightseeing, return to your standing balcony for a refreshing drink as you perch and watch the locals go about their evening below. Although the apartment lacks a proper living area, we reckon you'll be too busy exploring the area to mind that much. *There's not enough space to sit down on the balcony – although we still think it's a nice spot to relax *The apartment lacks a proper living area and there's no sofa here *There's a lift to reach the apartment floor *A laptop-friendly workspace ...

Step out of your building’s front door to be immediately greeted by the Colosseum at the end of the road. It’s an unrivalled location and despite neighbouring a global landmark, the quieter street retains a local charm. Inside, the apartment is wonderfully maintained with thoughtful design. The original character of the property shines – timber beams have been lovingly restored and counterpoint some of the more modern touches. We particularly liked the textured wallpaper above the bed and the matching set of Smeg kitchen appliances. After sipping an espresso and watching the daybreak over the Colosseum from your window, hit the pavements and get a closer look at Rome’s headline acts. The Roman Forum, Arch of Titus and the Via Sacra are all within a ten-minute walk. Plus, museums, piazzas and the iconic Pantheon are a seventeen-minute bus trip or ten-minute taxi ride away. *Child-friendly amenities such as a cot and high chair ...

Much like its sister apartment in the same building, Green Jay has an air of nobility that surrounds it. Antique furniture, dark wooden windows, and tiled floors all combine to encapsulate the feeling of elegance, a feeling which is common in Flaminio. This isn’t the place to stay if you want to be in the very middle of the action, but you get a sense of calm and a detachment from the tourist crowds, which is more than worth the extra journey time. *The kitchen was generally well-equipped but it was missing a few smaller appliances like a toaster or an espresso machine *Three people can sleep on sofa beds in the communal areas of the flat *The building has a porter but only during working hours Air Conditioning Buzzer / Wireless Intercom Central Heating Child Friendly Coffee Maker Cooking Essentials Cot / Crib Dishwasher Dryer Electricity Adaptors Fire Extinguisher First Aid Kit Fr...
While you’d initially not expect anything out of the ordinary, once you step off the street you can see why Elmer is so special. Beyond the pretty internal courtyard, there are small, multi-coloured accents all over the place, from the figure of a bull on the shelf to the kitchen tiles and the beautiful bathroom sink. It is on the small side, but two would be perfectly comfortable (it can hold four, but you’d have to be ready to share your personal space). *There isn't a lot of privacy in the flat - there are no doors between the bedroom, hallway and bathroom *There's no espresso machine because the host thinks that making a coffee in a moka is an integral part of the Italian experience *Guests 3 and 4 would be on a sofa bed in the living room *The TV doesn't have English channels Air Conditioning Amazon Prime Balcony Black-Out Blinds Breakfast Included Buzzer / Wireless Intercom Carbon Monoxide ...
Despite its position in an old, atmospheric square near Campo de’ Fiori, Falconry has been renovated recently, and most of the furniture has been made to measure, making the whole place feel very well crafted. Everything fits together, from the parquet floor to the various lamps, and even the terrace is taken care of, and not an afterthought. High up among the rooftops, it feels like a little refuge from the hectic city below. *The lift only goes up to the sixth floor, so you'll have to climb the stairs for the last stretch *Two people can sleep on a sofa bed in the living room *The bedroom is on the small side Air Conditioning Balcony Black-Out Blinds Blender Carbon Monoxide Detector Central Heating Cleaning Products Coffee Maker Cooking Essentials Dishwasher Drying Rack Extra Pillows and Blankets Fire Extinguisher First Aid Kit Freezer Fridge Hair Dryer Hangers Iron...
