Lift-Off isn’t the kind of place you stumble across every day. The windows and high ceilings make it feel vast (and to be fair, it is), and it could easily be in the Hollywood Hills, or somewhere along Highway 1. We’ll let the pictures do most of the talking, but suffice to say that indoor swings aren’t especially common. It’s a bit far out (to have that much space, you need to be), but a lot of events are hosted nearby during Salone del Mobile, and when the house itself is this much of a destination, location ceases to be a problem anyway. *There are twenty-five stairs to reach the flat *Two of the beds are small doubles (about 120cm across), so to fit two people you'd have to get up close and personal *One of the beds is elevated, and one more person can sleep on a sofa bed in the third bedroom *Ginevra might ask you to help out by watering the plants if you're there for longer than a week *There's a bit of wear a...

The Verdant View
On the edge of Brera and Garibaldi, Artemis is wonderfully placed for both the nightlife that fills the area, and for getting to other parts of the city. The flat has a sense of individuality to it – the design is sophisticated, with lots of beautiful objects that elevate it beyond what you might reasonably expect from a place of its size. It’s all fairly valuable, so for that reason the host, Rita, would prefer to rent to adults, or at least not young children. *Given the value of some of the things in the apartment, Rita would prefer not to have guests under twelve *There's a hoover available on request *Unfortunately, there's no dishwasher *The fridge is stocked with beverages ahead of your stay *The bathroom is stocked with Aesop and Kiehl's products *The longest stay available at the moment is one month *There's only one set of keys for this home *Luggage storage is free of charge where available – ple...

A functional apartment with access to nearby transport links, this apartment may not be the most stylish in our collection, but with its pair of bedrooms and bathrooms as well as a dedicated desk space, it’s great for a family or those travelling on business looking for a fuss-free city base. It benefits from a small balcony – perfect for perching with your morning coffee or evening aperitivo – and while it’s slightly further out from the touristy centre, you’ll find supermarkets and restaurants within walking distance, as well as Milano Porta Garibaldi for wider travel throughout the country. *At capacity, two guests will be sleeping on the sofa bed in the living area *Given the home's location, you may hear some street noise *While this home is slightly further away from the main touristy centre, you'll find plenty of public transport options nearby *The decor here is functional and a little basic – those looking for a more...

Where It Goes
This studio boutique studio apartment may be small, but its central location makes it the perfect home for couples and individuals looking for the independence of an apartment. While the original wooden ceilings and comfortable furniture make it a charming space to relax after a busy day. We would love to begin each morning here by throwing open the doors to the Juliet balcony to enjoy the fresh breeze and the views over the rooftops on offer as we sip a coffee. Then, head out and explore the sights and attractions of Milan. The columns of San Lorenzo are a short two-minute walk away, while the historic Duomo is reachable in fifteen minutes on foot. When it’s time for dinner, the restaurants and bars of Navigli are just nineteen minutes away on public transport. Then, return home for a relaxing night before you do it all again tomorrow. *Your host can provide a cot and high chair for free upon request *This home has a kit...
