## Neighborhood
Our apartment is located between the neighborhoods:
Monceau, an upscale neighborhood, revolves around the park of the same name, dotted with statues and popular for picnics. Two decorative art museums border this green space: the Cernuschi museum and the Nissim-de-Camondo museum, housed in sumptuous mansions. Nearby, the Jacquemart-André museum exhibits eclectic works of art in a majestic palace built during the Second Empire, while the Jean-Jacques Henner museum exhibits the painter's work in his former residence, dating from the 19th century.
Batignolles: a village-like district, is known for its unusual shops and picturesque brasseries, as well as for the English gardens of the Square des Batignolles. The bohemian streets that surround the Place de Clichy are lined with trendy bars. The area near Pont-Cardinet station is part of an eco-district that surrounds Martin Luther King Park. Notable museums include the Jean-Jacques Henner National Museum, which exhibits many 19th-century portraits.
