Beautiful three-ensuite bedroom flat 10 minutes' walk from the Santa Marta center and 5 minutes drive from Varadero beach. Fully equipped kitchen, living room with a large sofa and chairs, big TV, patio and balcony. Perfect patio to sit and get the sun in the mornings, and the flat is light and fresh air. It has Wi-Fi. The upstairs bedroom sleeps four to 6 people, with two king size beds and a bunk; The downstairs bedroom sleeps two in a dbl bed. The flat is perfect for families and is close to shops, bars and restaurants in Santa Marta among Cuban people.

Me and my boyfriend stayed there from 08.01.2021 - 17.01.2021. We were the only guests most of the time and with that we had our own room with a bathroom, a big livingroom, a big kitchen and the whole courtyard for ourselves because Sandra was working outside of Cuba during our stay there. Only the co-hoster Puchi showed up about 2-3 times during the day and was there to answer us questions if we had some, give us important informations (for example about our results from the COVID tests we took) or took care of the house. Unfortunately they could not offer us the included breakfast during the pandemic but lowered the price a little instead. The location of the house is in the middle of Santa Marta and you live side by side with the locals so it is very interesting and not touristic but there are still a lot of restaurants, street food spots and cafes around to eat something. To get to Varadero you can walk for about 30 min or you take a bus/taxi. They WIFI at the house is really good you can use it with the ETECSA internet cards you need in Cuba anyway. The only thing we missed were some exact recommendations for cafés or restaurants. But this is only a small lack because they helped us with every question and concern we had and Sandra always answered very quick and reliable via WhatsApp. At the beginning she also wrote us a ton of very useful informations about Santa Marta, Varadero and where to buy internet cards or how to get around. Even after we left she supported us with finding informations or connecting to other hosts with casa particulares we are near to at the moment. We really enjoyed our stay there and would definitely go back there :)

The house is wonderful. I had my own bathroom for only ten CUC and that is amazing. The housekeepers are very nice and always there to help and advise you. Even if the house is a bit far of the beach, I truly recommand it.

It was really great casa! Very beautiful, cute, with great bed! It was so big!! And all room was really tidy! Santa-Martha is near to Varadero, so it was no problem to go to the ocean. Abd breakfast was really good! Very delisious! Thank you so much!!!

Nous avons passé une nuit chez Sandra en août 2019 Le logement est top ainsi que le petit déjeuner. Sandra est très sympathique et parle français. Nous avons déjeuner dans un restaurant grec à Santa Marta qui était très bien et nous sommes allées à la plage de Varadéro à pied . We spent a night at Sandra’s The accommodation is top as well as breakfast. Sandra is very friendly and speaks French. We had lunch in a Greek restaurant in Santa Marta which was very good and we went to the beach of Varadéro on foot .

Nous avons passé un bon séjour chez Sandra. La chambre était propre et spacieuse, moderne mais c’était loin de Varadero. Il fallait chaque fois prendre un taxi aller retour pour aller à la plage. Nous ne l’avons pas vu, nous étions accueillis par ses employés.

Sandra n'était pas sur place mais nous avons été bien accueillis. Le prix affiché de 40 (euros?!) a été facturé 44 CUC. Lieux propres. Pas de service de ménage offert. Santa Marta est clairement plus locale et moins dispendieuse que Varadero. On peut marcher les 2-3 km en passant par le pont pour accéder à la plage de Varadero la plus proche. Taxis locaux en face de la clinique médicale à 500 mètres environ. Paladares à proximité de la casa.
